RANDY BEARD

Randy Beard received his law degree from the University of Alabama and is, along with his brother, Will Beard, a founder and the senior partner of Beard & Beard. He has practiced law for over forty years and has been involved in more than 2500 civil cases in Marshall and other counties in North Alabama. He is an experienced courtroom lawyer, having participated in more than 250 jury trials, including class action lawsuits to verdict. As an example, Mr. Beard represented a class of cattle ranchers against Tyson Fresh Meats in the case of Pickett et al vs. Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc., in the U. S. District Court, Montgomery, Alabama and won a $2.28 billion dollar jury verdict on behalf of the cattle ranchers.
Mr. Beard has a wide ranging practice but specializes in serious personal injury, death, and disability cases arising out of automobile and large truck accidents. He has also handled numerous multi-million dollar cases against insurance companies and large corporations for fraud, bad faith, and other wrong-doing.
Mr. Beard has earned a Martindale-Hubble AV Rating for the highest level of legal ability and professional ethics. In 1997, he was chosen as a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, an organization made up of less than one percent of all the attorneys in the United States and Canada. He is a sustaining member of the Alabama Bar Association, Member of the Marshall County, Alabama and American Bar Associations. He has lectured at numerous legal seminars. Mr. Beard has been named by his peers to the Best Lawyers of Alabama, Best Lawyers in America and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was also voted by his peers as an Alabama Super Lawyer.
